Teri Magnan, Principal Instructor
Nationally Board Certified Reflexologist

Born in Woonsocket, RI, Teri studied Reflexology at "The Center for Universal and Holistic Studies" in Worcester, Ma, under the guidance of Elaine Gordon.

Teri is a diplomat in the "Language of the Feet" under the guidance of Chris Stormer, a recognized author on Reflexology and founder of "The Reflexology Academy of South Africa."

Studied "Stress Cues and Assessment for Reflexologists" with Kevin and Barbara Kunz in Ontario, Canada.

She studied under Father Joseph Eugster a Catholic priest, who for the past 25 years has gradually developed his own variations of reflexology. Father Joseph has been successfully teaching his method in Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bolivia, and now USA. He also authored three books on the subject.

Teri attended a proficiency workshop on The Ingham Method of Foot and Hand Reflexology in Nashville, TN.

Served as President of the New England Association of Reflexology from 1999 to 2002.

Teri is a member of the Reflexology Association of Rhode Island - Legislative Chairperson.

She is also a member of the American Reflexology Certification Board.

Has a private practice in Cumberland, RI.

Teri is the Principal Instructor for The Rhode Island Reflexology Academy.

Studied REIKI (1, 2, and advanced) under the guidance of Myra Partyka in Wakefield, RI.

She also studied "Therapeutic Touch" under the guidance of Randy Griffin, R.N., M.S., and H.N.C.

May of 2006 attended the Reflexology Association of America conference in Tucson, AZ.

June 2006 attended an Educational Summit in Little Rock, AK.

Heads the CARE committee which will set educational standards for Reflexology Educators across the country.

On the Board of Directors for A.C.A.R.E.T. (American Commission for Reflexology Education and Training.)

Teri believes in educating the public as to the benefits of reflexology therapy by training and graduating professional reflexologists who have mastered the knowledge and skills to become successful practitioners.
